We have turned the garage into a gompa and that is working fine. From 4-6 May we did puja and prayers for the world in order to pacify the calamities concerning the swine flu, wars and finacial crisis.

Prayer for warding, of sicknesses and epidemics.
All types of diseases and sicknesses which are a burden to all sentient beings are caused by karma and its contributing circumstances which in the end brings death to sentient beings May it not happened in this world!
Just like the animals are led by the butcher to their death, likewise life once stolen by sickness which separates the life force and the body in an instant.
May it not happen in this world!
Just like having entered into the mouth of The Lord of Death, just hearing the name of dreaded diseases brings unbearable suffering.
May it not happen to any sentient beings!
There are eighty thousand types of karmic obstacle crackers and three hundred eighty causes and contributing circumstances of the death. And four hundred types of diseases.
May they not harm beings that have bodies!
The robbers of the happiness, in the body and the mind caused by the misbalance of the four elements.
May they all be pacified without exception!
May peace and happiness prevail in this world!

At The Glorious Sakya when great epidemics almost wiped out all the population many tantric masters’ efforts failed then The Great Maha Siddha Thra Tung Gyalpo recited refuge formula and mani mantra and this aspiration prayer and then all got pacified and was able to stop the impending disaster.
That is why we are doing this prayer at this time!
