In 2005 in Tso Pema we had the great blessing and initiation under a visit from H.H. Dungsay Garab Dorje Rinpoche.
Rinpoche came with a large group of students from Taiwan and Malaysia. Soon the space around the Precious Lotus Lake was transformed into a Mandala of ‘chod’ practitioners.
Performing the ‘Troma Nag mo’ rite of the Dudjum Tersan. Rinpoche left great inspiration to the local practitioners who continued the practise.
Rinpoche came again in 2006.
In 2007 everybody where expecting and looking forward for Rinpoche to come again. But in 2007 the ceremony was arranged in Bodh Gaya in front of the ‘Mahaboddhi Stupa’. About 7000 Yogis and yoginies mainly from Butan, Tibet, Nepal, India, but also Taiwan and Malaysia, one American, one Litaunese, one from Chile, and one Danish.
Only 7 practitioners had been able to come from Tso Pema, but they had brought sincere prayers from all the others who could not come, and request for blessings to bring back.
Under the ceremony on the 25th Tibetan calender day. We from Tso Pema asked H.H. Dungsay Garab Dorje for a blessing concerning a wish to built a Mandarava statue and shrine in Tso Pema and to found a project concerning activities as taking care of the environment and the people which is obvious necessary.
Rinpoches blessings were great and when Rinpoche announced the wish for the project to the gathering of yogies and yoginies near 200.000 INR. Were collected as donations. So that was how The Tso Pema Mandarava Project began to take form.
